Other Northeast Georgia rides: Shortline Trail ~ 3-mile paved "Rails to Trails" trail following the Old Tallulah Falls Railroad Bed for hiking and bicycling. Heartland of the Confederacy ~ Follow two trails in Northeast Georgia, one which focuses on six leaders that shaped the history of Georgia, the South and the United States before, during and after the Civil War. The other trail, Stoneman's Raid, where 85 Confederates captured over 300 prisoners and brought them to the University of Georgia campus.
