Three Things To Realize When Life Seems To Go Full-Circle

Sometimes life goes full-circle. Sometimes we are in a certain place and feel confident of potential outcomes, and then a few years go by and it was kinda different than expected. Sometimes we find ourselves experiencing similar emotions and successes (or pitfalls), even when the situation is different. Often life unfolds in somewhat unpredictable ways, and you know what? That’s okay.

Sometimes we have goals and plans for certain projects, but we get side-tracked and find not much progress was made in a long time. The magical thing in that situation, though, is that a huge truck-load of stuff can be accomplished in a few days! Time can be extremely relative, bending and stretching if we want it to…

When life goes full-circle in ways we didn’t expect, it’s important to acknowledge a few things:

1) This absolutely DOES NOT mean no progress was made. On the contrary, I’ve often noticed that sometimes this is to prove you know how to handle it now, and are on an upward spiral of progress.

2) Perhaps it crossed your path again so you have the chance to create a different outcome or turn of events. Maybe it’s to see if you will connect the dots and show to yourself (and others?) you learned from the first time. Deeper truths are trying to reveal themselves.

3) The natural flow of life and the universe is in spirals, which are circular at their core. Chances are you’re syncing up with the energies around, and that’s why you’re experiencing circular patterns.

Have growing faith in the process, and keep your eyes & perceptions wide open. Please be gentle with yourself — you’re doing the best you can, with the tools and lessons that you’ve acquired!

Everyday you’re getting better at assessing and handling difficult situations, and further fathoming how everything is ever-connected. Learn from the mistakes and the successes, and start to recognize the inherently spiraling nature of life all around. Continue being thankful for the stellar beauty and complex simplicity of it all, because it’s always been thankful that you’re here to notice. 🙂
